SEPTEMBER 2010

FALL IS FOR PLANTING.  IT'S BEEN ONE OF THE HOTTEST AND DRIEST SUMMERS I CAN REMEMBER.  IT WILL FINALLY COOL DOWN AND ALLOW YOU TO GET SOME OF THOSE POSTPONED PROJECTS DONE. IF YOU STILL CAN'T FIND THE TIME, BE SURE TO CALL THE GARDEN CENTER FOR YOUR FREE ESTIMATE.  WHETHER IT'S SOME PLANTINGS, A RETAINING WALL, A POND OR MAYBE A BRICK PATIO...WE DO IT ALL.  GIVE US A CALL.

HEY, THAT RHYMES!

JUNE  2010

After a wet spring we're seeing a lot of fungus disease and fire blight.  Unfortunately, it's too late to do anything about blight.  For leaf spot or other fungal problems a spray of fungicides will normally prevent the disease from getting worse but will not erase the damage that has already been done.

Lacebug is here.  Be sure to watch for it especially on azaleas.  The leaves will appear to be whitish or mottled and have black specks on the underside of the leaves.

Watch for Japanese Beetles around the end of the month or first part of July.

Our crews are out working every day.  Call for your free estimate and let us do the tough jobs for you.  It's amazing how they can transform a yard in a matter of hours or days.

For answers to any questions you might have, call or visit the garden center today.  We'll try to help in any way we can.
